Welcome to KSEA Scholarship Site

KSEA scholarship for undergraduates, KUSCO-KSEA scholarship for graduates and other named scholarships are to recognize outstanding students with Korean heritage who have excelled in academics as well as in extracurricular activities including community services, and who have demonstrated a potential for becoming leaders in the society.

The objective of the scholarships are also aligned with the objectives of KSEA (Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association):

• Contribute to the industiral development in the US and Korea through the promotion of Science and engineering.
• Promote cooperation between US and Korea in science, engineering and technology.
• Promote and cultivate the next generation of Korean-American scientists and engineers.
• Contribute to the Korean community.

There are two categories in the scholarship:

1. Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) will grant 12-15 scholarships and 2 essay awards to undergraduate students in the US in 2008.
2. Korea-US Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO) and KSEA will jointly grant 17 scholarships to graduate students in the US in 2008.
